Josh’s heart is for people experience ever-deepening union with Jesus in the areas they need Him most. Specifically, he is dedicated to helping men and women discover the intimate nearness of Christ for those who struggle with unwanted sexual behaviors, thoughts, and feelings.

In addition to a year-round discipleship program that for over a decade has equipped men to gain freedom from lust and freedom to love, Josh’s book Treading Boldly through a Pornographic World: A Field Guide for Parents, co-authored with Daniel Weiss, is due to be released in June 2021.

Since 2006, Josh has served as the Executive Director of Regeneration, a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to helping people to learn and live God’s good, beautiful, and holy design for sexuality. To learn more about Regeneration, go here.

Josh grew up along the front range of Colorado, and moved to Maryland in 1999. Married to his beautiful wife, Jamie, since 2001, Josh is a huge fan of their four daughters and one son. He is also a writer, speaker, podcaster, and blogger, and in his free time, Josh loves to play Ultimate Frisbee, eat good food with friends, and spot beauty in unexpected places.
